The majority of the "Streakers" so far are selecting 4 or more (95%). New York takes a lot of 3-pointers per game (22.2), while the Bulls are efficient at 3-point shooting (38.2%). The two teams combine for 13.1 3-pointers per game. Divide that number by four and you get 3.275 per quarter. The Bulls will be without Luol Deng and C.J. Watson. With those two facts, you would think that the obvious pick would be 3 or fewer. However, with Deng's injury, that means more time for a great 3-point shooter, Kyle Korver. Korver has played over 30 minutes in each of the past two games and he scored 26 in the last outing against the Jazz. In that game he made 6 from behind the arc. With Korver playing more, I'm going with the majority of SFTC players. Pick: 4 or More (Confidence: 3.5/5)
How many points will Blake Griffin score in the first half: (9 or Fewer) or (10 or More)
Blake Griffin averages 10.7 PPG. That average rises .5 points when he plays at home. The main reason why I'm picking Blake Griffin to have 10 or more is that they are playing the Celtics. First, Rajon Rondo, a premiere defender will be on Chris Paul. What does that mean? Chris Paul will be forced to pass the ball more, which will result in more points for Griffin. Second, Kevin Garnett will be guarding Griffin. Garnett and the aging Celtics played last night. Against the Lakers yesterday, Andrew Bynum had 20 points. Expect Griffin to have a little more. Pick: 10 or More (Confidence: 4/5)
