Streak for the Cash: March 11th

How many points will Kobe Bryant score in the first half: (14 Points or Fewer) or (15 Points or More)
This prop looks tough.  Kobe Bryant has been averaging 29 points per game this year.  So obviously, if you divide that by 2 halves, you get 14.5 per half.  When I first saw this, my guy feeling was 14 points or fewer for Kobe, but after looking at the stats, I have changed my mind.  Kobe likes and gets up for playing the Celtics.  Last year, in his two games against Boston, he averaged 32 points.  This year, in their only meeting so far, Kobe dropped 27 on the C's, and only had 11 in the first half.  However, I have a feeling it will be more this time.  That game was on the road and Kobe does average 1.4 more points at the Staples Center.  Kobe has been scoring more lately, averaging 31.4 per game (divide by 2 and you get 15.7).  Anyways, the game is on national television, against the Celtics, I think Kobe goes off.  Pick: 15 Points or More (Confidence: 3/5)

Who will win: Houston Rockets or Cleveland Cavaliers
As I'm writing this, Houston has 92% of the vote.  I would have agreed with the majority, if I didn't look closer into this game.  And when you do, you will be really surprised that the Rockets have so much of the vote.  Yes, the Rockets are the better team this year and have a way better record.  However, right now, they are struggling.  Houston has lost five of the last six games, and their only victory in that streak was against the Nets. In that game, the Nets played without their star Deron Williams.  Also, that game was last night and the Cavs will have had an extra day's worth of rest.  For the Cavs, they are coming off two great road wins against Denver and Oklahoma City.  That is impressive.  I like Cleveland in this game.  To make matters worse for the Rockets, they will be without guard Kyle Lowry.  With that, expect Kyrie Irving to have a big game.  Despite the fact that over 90% of the people are picking the Rockets, go with the Cavs.  Cleveland is a two-point favorite for a reason.  Pick: Cleveland Cavaliers (Confidence: 3.5/5)
